Method of Ancient Nadi Leafs India
The process of studying Nadi Astrology involves obtaining a thumb impression from the native, which is then submitted at the library. The palm-leaf bundles in the library are classified and indexed based on the thumb impression for easier searching. Each thumb impression may have around 5 to 6 bundles, with each bundle containing 50 to 100 leaves. The specific leaf pertaining to an individual can be found in any of the bundles or may not be found at all, as the predictions in the sacred script are limited to a select few individuals.
Finding the specific leaf can be a time-consuming and laborious task. The reader reads statements from the leaves, and the native confirms their accuracy. If a statement holds true, the reader proceeds to the next one. If it doesn't, the reader continues searching through the leaves and bundles until the leaf containing all the correct particulars of the native is found. The native's active cooperation in listening attentively and responding accurately helps expedite the process.
In addition to the individual's leaf, the process reveals the first Kaandam, known as the General Kaandam, which represents the native's lagna or ascendant. The General Kaandam provides brief predictions for the remaining 12 houses of the native's birth chart. For more detailed predictions of specific houses, the relevant Kaandam can be studied in the annexure.
The Rishis emphasize that for the positive outcomes predicted in the holy script to manifest, the native must be free from the negative influences of past-life sins. Therefore, the Rishis recommend specific remedies or parihaaras to counteract these influences. Diligent performance of these remedies is said to ensure the occurrence of the predicted events. Further details about these remedies can be found in separate chapters called Shanthi&Deeksha (No. 13 & 14).
Our office has been providing Nadi Astrology services for the past 80 years across three generations. Recently, within the last two years, several Nadi offices have opened in Vaithiswarankoil. While we do not comment on the increase in the number of Nadi offices, we want to caution our clients that we do not have any branch offices in India. Over the years, many notable individuals have visited us, some on multiple occasions, and they have been impressed when the forecasts given by our office manifested in their lives.
